Mission Armada Partnership

It was established to create the world’s first multi-sector experiential learning organization that provides comprehensive experiential learning experiences to aspiring STEM professionals and students. This is a partnership between W3PV and The Mission Armada Organization. The idea was to create a diverse collaborative model through global and national service trips while mentoring and creating easier pathways for students to enter health careers. Before and after the trips, students have the opportunity to tap into an extensive network to find jobs, internships, and other opportunities. TMA’s mission is to provide students with the resources they need to help them achieve their professional goals or discover new opportunities throughout their educational journeys while transforming the most underserved communities in the world.

W3PV will serve as a fiscal agent and provide program management services for work that is being performed in Jamaica. Through this partnership, we will work directly with leading professional educational institutions, private, government, and nonprofit sector organizations from the United States and abroad to bring students the standard for learning and professional growth experiences.

Central Mahaicony Guyana Children Fund

It is another global community outreach program sponsored by W3PV. The primary objective of this program is to provide a healthy school lunch for twenty-five (25) children attending the Mahaicony Primary and Secondary School.

 

The community of Central Mahaicony has approximately 300 households. Most households comprise of extended family or multigenerational families of which a significant percentage of them include school age children. Unfortunately, Central Mahaicony is not an economically strong community and as a result many parents are often challenged with providing adequately meals for their children to attend school.

 

W3PV through its donors will augment the existing lunch program currently being offered by The Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas, the Guyana District Conference, the Mahaica District.

 

Long term, it is our desire to increase the number of participants in the lunch program from 25 students to 35 students and extend the program from 3 days per week to 5 days per week. W3PV is a strong proponent of education and will assist with providing school supplies for students attending the Mahaicony Primary and Secondary School.

Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund

It was established in response to the extensive devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian on the northwest islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama, as well as widespread power outages. The death toll in the Bahamas has risen to 50 people. It’s expected to rise further – 1,3000 people are missing, according to the country’s National Emergency Management Agency. The UN says more than 70,000 people on Abaco and Grand Bahama need lifesaving assistance.

 

I know what you might be thinking, for a moment I thought about it too. We have our hands full in Haiti, we can’t do it all. It is hard to ignore the devastation that hit two of the Bahamian islands. The cries for help, the devastation, and the grief; it leaves an eerie feeling that is painfully familiar. However, it is for this very reason we cannot turn our backs. WE KNOW what they are facing, and we can empathize. We believe that we can support in a small way to help move the recovery process forward.

 

Therefore, W3PV, Inc has joined forces with Omega Psi Phi, Pi Xi Chapter in the Bahamas and The Bahamas Christian Council to raise funds to purchase desperately needed life-saving items such as clean water and food for the people in the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama. The relief effort is going to be an ongoing effort that will take years. Your support is needed to make a difference in the lives of people that lost everything!

Tanzania Project – Mental Health Awareness

The Tanzania Project – Mental Health Awareness was established to assist Tap Elderly Women’s Wisdom for Youth (TEWWY) in addressing the mental health crisis facing people living in communities in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. W3PV’s primary responsibility is to serve as the fiscal agent for TEWWY. In addition, W3PV will help raise awareness about the mental health challenges people face.

The lack of access to mental health support in Tanzania has created a service shortage crisis. Some of the most vulnerable groups do not have the financial resources to access support as they face stigma, which contributes to overall poor mental health. With the support and endorsement of the Minister of Health.

 

TEWWY is collaborating with 15 Government Health Care Facilities [HCFs] to provide free mental health support services for all patients who opt in.


Retired elderly women are being trained as Wellness Fellows [WFs] by a Muhimbili Hospital Clinical Psychologist & President of the Mental Health Association of Tanzania [MEHATA] to be able to deliver community mental health support services.

 

TEWWY’s WFs will connect with socially & economically vulnerable Tanzanians registered at the HCFs by offering SMS Counseling, Support Group Circles, and SMS Mental Health Promotional Campaigns. Each of these services promotes positive mental health, enabling underserved communities to enhance their feelings of self-esteem, self-efficacy, and sense of belonging. By promoting feelings of positive mental health, people are better equipped to improve their overall health and quality of life.


The Turiani Village Project is a global education initiative sponsored by W3 Philanthropic Ventures to expand equitable access to learning resources for approximately 700 students at Turiani Elementary School in the Morogoro region of Tanzania. At the core of the initiative is the construction of a dedicated school library, addressing a critical gap in educational infrastructure and providing students with a structured, safe, and inspiring environment for reading, study, and discovery.


In addition to constructing the library, W3 Philanthropic Ventures will fully furnish the space with age-appropriate and culturally relevant books, library furniture, and learning materials aligned with the school’s instructional needs. The project also includes an ongoing commitment to supply school materials and computers on an annual basis, thereby strengthening both foundational literacy and digital competency, while supporting teachers’ capacity to deliver high-quality instruction.


The Turiani Village Project embodies a sustainable, community-centered approach to educational development that extends beyond a one-time intervention. By integrating physical infrastructure, academic resources, and long-term support, the initiative aims to enhance learning outcomes, cultivate a culture of reading and inquiry, and create a lasting impact for students and the broader Turiani community.

Zimbabwe Fund

Zimbabwe Fund is another social cause and global initiative between W3PV and Apolostic Faith and Acts Church in Johannesburg, South Africa. This is a strategic and collaborative partnership that extends W3PV’s global reach as well as our visibility on the continent of Africa. Proceeds from this fund will be used to support The Place of Recovery (TPOR) Project. The primary goal of this project is to develop a much-needed hospital, educational center, and place of worship for the underserved community in Mbembesi, Zimbabwe.
